Good Reads of the Month: March 2014
It’s that time of the month again when I’m dishing out a few good articles I’ve stumbled upon on other sites. Here are four good reads for the month of March.
• The Rules of Productive Weight Training for The Drug-Free Trainee by Casey Butt
Quite likely the most comprehensive, right on the money article ever written for the natural strength trainee.
Instead of wasting your employer’s time and money by killing your brain cells while mindlessly idling away the afternoon on social media, do something productive in the office and read this post.
• 6 Huge Issues in Athletic Development by Mike Robertson
Mike lays out 6 relevant issues in developing better athletes today and how to fix them.
• How Does Usain Bolt Train by Bret Contreras
How does the fastest man who ever lived train in the gym?
Now that’s an interesting question and I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants to hear the answer. Bret Contreras has got you covered on this one.
• Why Haters Make It So Much Easier for You to Succeed by Jason Ferruggia
This last article written by Jay has got nothing to do with training, but it has got everything to do with winning in life.
“The point is that people sit around steaming and typing fucking YouTube comments all day!
They ain’t chasing dreams. They’re not competing for your spot. They’re at home rotting in the basement, pounding the keyboard and spewing venom.
So whatever it is you want to do in life, thank the haters for increasing your chances of success. There are less people competing for that top spot than you think.”
Beautiful.
If you enjoyed this article, please do a brother a favor by liking, commenting and sharing it with others who might dig it as well.
